Muses, Muscles, and Souls
Saturday, October 6th, 2007I only was a huge fan of Muse for a few months. It all began on a highschool class trip. I was 17 and one night we were drunk and put in a newly recieved ‘Origin of Symmetry’ cd into the player. The start of Newborn blew up my head. Of course,
I like them and I’m not the type to hate them cause of success but I’m not a fan.
I’m not a fan of Soulwax either. They have great remixes and some killer tracks of their own but it’s just like that.
So why am I writing this post? Good point. I’m writing it because one of the best Muse songs has a remix by Soulwax and it is so fuckin awesome that I have to share it. I found it on Palms Out Sounds, they blogged it about a year ago. The best part of the remix is that they managed to shift the tragedy in the vocals over superbeating electronics which drags you like a spaceship.
