We’ve been posting about him for a time, now it’s really cool to see the Kollektiva guys got him for a summer show. And by summer show, I mean summery sounds and atmosphere, you know, that everyone likes: open-air, cocktails, cigarettes, whatever. Moulinex is suited for it. You can find a lot of stuff by him via Hypem, I decided to post my favourite mini-banging spacetrash song: Down and Out. Brandon says: In other related news, those of you from Budapest who frequent Kunk parties know we have a weak-spot for particularly bad pop music. Like, Backstreet Boys bad. Like, I Want It That Way closes out nearly every party we throw and Everybody creeps into way too many sets. It turns out we aren’t the only boys in this town who get a kick out of the boys from the backstreets. The Headshot Boyz are also in the Ektiv crew and will open up for Moulinex this weekend — they recently did some handywork on the aforementioned Everybody that definitely turns up the heat on the original. It’s not quite up Kunk’s alley (or, backstreet) in terms of style, but we’ve got to give them credit for hitting up a fave of ours that will put a positively perverted twist into any night out upon hearing it.

Now, if a lone remix floating in blogga-land could only get Nick Carter back together with Paris Hilton, the world would be all the better for it.

Hiya. So, there’s this party upcoming. It’s about… blogs. OMG, blogs! Yeah, those things. It’s taking place in approximately 2 weeks time at Trafo. You should be there. And if you’re one of the participating blogs, you better be there. But really, there’ll be a special program where all participants can give a mini-showcase of what their blog lusts after. Beforehand and afterward, ourselves, kollektiva, gumipop, and death disco, will be bringin’ the house down with our LOL dj skillz.

I should add, if you have an awesome blog (which i’m sure you do) and it for some reason didn’t make it into this here party. We can assure you it wasn’t for lack of intent. We love you all! Only the whole timing and logistical thing that kept us from inviting every motherfucker in this town with a keyboard. But, seeing this kind of interest, Blogga party 2.0 might not be a bad idea.

For our Hungarian readers, just to make sure you know about this. We are going to be residents more or less each week at Trafo alongside Miss Lucifer (Death Disco), KittenKillers & Mario Bros (Gumipop).

This will be a party to fill the hiatus of thursday nights of your lives. It has some kind of Japanese/anime theme but…well…Japan is cool.

Our European readers may or may not have any idea where the city of Milwaukee is. In fact it’s in the US state of Wisconsin, where most of the American half of Kunk’s relatives come from before they all headed West.
So maybe that’s why I’ve got a soft spot for The Glamour. A pair of guys who have been spitting out hot track after track for the better part of a year. And their most recent, Fly By Night, is our humble opinion by far their strongest to date. Can work equally well as a warm up or a semi-banger. Maybe these boys can put Milwaukee on the map just as your Kunkers are working on the same task for Budapest.
