From Japan by way of Hackney London town, Zongamin’s tribal electro mix work has always pleased the dancing caveman lurking within me. I hadn’t heard to much of him since Bongo Song was rocking UK club sets a few years back. Nice to see, then, that he’s been earning some recent blog love again with a remix of Kraut-funkers, Munk. (Bonus points for being one letter away from yours trulies ;))

As a side note and apropos of almost nothing, if you’re digging Zongamin then definitely check out the Canadian boys that have picked up the same vibe and run with it, and run with it good: Holy Fuck.
