Italo Still Does it Best: Fare Soldi

Just got our paws on some new tracks by Italy’s Fare Soldi (off their ‘Sappiamo dove abiti’ album from last year) and they are totally yummilicious. Not far into Il Vecchio e il Mullet, we are hit with what very closely resembles the riff of Rick Springfield’s Jesse’s Girl and things don’t let up from there… they continue the beat with some of his chopped up vox — if you have a serious soft spot for both italo-electronica, and Springfield — getting them served together is bliss.

Palazzo dei Signi is a slower jam pefect for groovin’ away a summer night with. Its sound lies about half in-between an 80s sitcom intro song, and Legend of Zelda-era Nintendo track. I don’t think you need me to add anything more to that. Just have a listen. Expect a lot more remixes of and by these guys coming soon.
