Two things we like: Fear of Tigers, and Monseiur Adi. Fittingly, together they pack a delightful punch. Well, perhaps in this case not a punch so much as a blissful repose. Nevertheless, this M. Adi slowdown of the urgent original, I Can Make the Pain Disappear, totally succeeds. Thoughtful, however not melancholic, strings create the back-fabric of the track, which feels as if it’s elegantly meandering through a river valley headed toward the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, you’ll feel compelled to strip down and take a dip.

As you can surmise, this track is by no means a banger — but for an Erasure-esque (in a good way) summer journey, keep this one at the ready.

Fear of Tigers - I Can Make the Pain Disappear (Monsieur Adi Remix) [mediafire] // [ysi]

Quite enjoying the latest remix from Fear of Tigers emerging from the Neon Gold camp. It’s an energetic and happy romp across plateaus of layered electro and surges of tidal thumping beats.  It will build you up, it will push you forward, and it will keyboard cat (keyboard tiger?) you into sublime submission. The track will be released as part of a Yes Giantess remix package that marks a departure from their “bro-pop” debut single and takes a darker and thoughtful-er direction. The retro-power-synth/ex-bro-pop combo works well here. I’d even think it might serve as a basis for some future original work by FoT.
