One of the tunes I keep on listening to on repeat these days is a new remix for MSTRKRFT’s Heartbreaker remixed by Jump Jump Dance Dance. Even the original was moving and emotional with the soft vocals by rnb star, John Legend. Usually not a fun of any rnb or hiphop but MSTRKRFT were mixing it so well with electro on their last album that I couldn’t resist (as long as they stayed away from the fidgety stuff). Now, the least known guys from the aformentioned are JJDD. They are from LA. You should check out their other remixes (they did La Roux, Los Valentinos and Datarock too) and they have originals as well (the synthy alt-funk of Do It For Love is quite catchy) and are working on their debut. To Heartbreaker they added some spacey synth which just provides the ears with more summer smoothness towards the end of this part of the year. I’d actually celebrate the coming of autumn with this track. Nice dance-melancholy and Kunk is really into the not-obvious, let’s say ambigous and smart electro production that can actually stimulate the feeling-core of the brain.
