Was recently sent a softly produced and minimal-ish track by London-based Rigil. It’s certainly not a song that will bombast you with an orgy of sound, but it’s got some attractive vocals on a few backing layers which very loosely could be described as resembling a few Death Cab tunes. Actually the backings take two different shapes, with the opening taking a turn around 1:20 for a different ride the rest of the way through.

Alltogether it’s a personal track which should have a lot more going for it once it grabs the final sounds it wants and sheds demo status with more confidence.  I like these little ditties to balance out the partying summer days. It serves as a base to balance out the acid i’m normally feeding myself. (no, not that kind of acid, silly — the pH kind)
