Having Flare
July 22nd, 2009Always liked Trucker’s Delight by Flairs despite it not being a ‘party song’ (not a party song? oh noooo). Kinda grew on me and i always filed it as a French electro-ish variation of Deerhof (compliment). Now he’s back with some new material that is getting remixed up the wazoo. The BBYYY edit caught our ears as their intentionally cheap rough-around-the-edges vibe has always gone down well here in Kunk land. The sonf is more straight up pop with the Bitchees slapping on the familiar distortion and dirty grind.
The single with the BBYYY remix, as well as ones by Be Noizy, WZRDZ, Death Metal Disco Scene, and a remake by Metal on Metal, is out now.
