Minitel Rose, Continue with Video
February 24th, 2009Tasteful modern French rockers that love their country’s brand of proto-internet (and flowers), Minitel Rose, just had a video done for last year’s track Continue, and sent it along. Everyone else posts videos, we should do more of that from time to time as well. Plot of this vid, directed by Syrine Boulanouar & Pierre-Edouard Joubert: Minitel Rose promoting dude wanders town promoting, then smoking, then promoting some more, then smoking some more. In the end he looks at a chick. Very cute, and of course, very French.

If you aren’t joking (and if it’s the case, sorry for the pedantic interruption), Minitel rose (Pink minitel) was the erotico-pornographic sector services on Minitel (mostly chatrooms and sexual stories). As in Internet, porn was the most profitable service, and make Minitel bankable.

it was kind of tongue-in-cheek of course but hadn’t realized the sub-sector existed… good to see the oldest profession thrives in any environment
