Yuksek Gets Some Chromeo Lovin’
February 6th, 2009French producer/dj and man on lots of posters around Paris, Yuksek, has just dropped his new LP, “Away from the Sea”. Quite a few choice nuggets on the album, though I’m particularly fond of the little ditty he threw down with the help of Chromeo on the vocal front. And it sounds just about what you expect if you swirled the two together… backing ascending piano riffs accompanied by an electro-pop-funk rythym and Chromeo’s breathy vocals bringing it together. The result is an attractive piece of straight up pop.
He’s doing some heaving touring around France this month, but will be in the US for a brief stint in March so check that shizz live if you can. The Kunkers had the opportunity to play with him last year in Budapest, nice chap!

Promote something of ‘value’ and you can even turn a promotion into ‘content’
I have heard the 90/10 rule works best, but the point is, whether its 80/20 or 90/10 or 75/25 doesn’t matter as much as how VALUABLE is the CONTENT you are delivering 
If you follow 99/1 and your 99% content is irrelavant, untimely, and just plain valueless to your readership, you really don’t have a 99/1 ratio
