p e a c e fire + grum
September 27th, 2008A great Discodust discovery in August: p e a c e FIRE is an awesome addition to the 80s
synth revival. Lovelock comes to mind in comparison. Long songs which are like airwaves dragging and spinning you down the sky-highway. Soundtrack for Neverending Story disco-edition. Interestingly, only the Binary blog (check back soon for new NightWaves tracks) paid attention besides Discodust. Poetic lyrics and dreamy soundscapes should’ve gotten more hype.
I don’t really know anything about p e a c e FIRE other than he/she/they is/are from Japan. I guess we’ll hear more in the future because not only the music is awesome but the imagery and other built-up stuff is done with taste and it creates a unique atmosphere for the project. The artwork and the visuals are stunning. Everything is in place for fantasy-grandeur.
Kunk-favourite GRUM knows what’s up and coming and he’s already made a remix for the new song: Sapphire.
