Crash Overdrive Pushes It to the Edge

August 8th, 2008

They say song selection is 70/80/90/pick a number % of djing. I’ll agree with what ‘they’ say. Stevie Nicks’ Edge of Seventeen is one of those tracks that is great to bust out at nearly any type of event because it feels strangely current to those in the audience who aren’t old enough to remember the original; yet, old-timers can still get their nostalgia kicks. For that reason the Kunkers love it as a warm up track at smaller venues.

crash overdriveCrash Overdrive, an electro producer out of LA with a fresh new myspace profile that you should visit, obviously is in the camp who love that early 80s standard and wanted to ramp up the energy level: he’s managed that in spades. The ex-Fleetwood Mac songstress is now packin’ serious club heat. Looking forward to more hotness out of LA in the coming months!
