trance music matches your brain waves or something like that
April 29th, 2008Continuing in my WTF-style posts today seems like a good day for… trance! Yeah, trance, you know that stuff. Probably best exemplified by those in the global underground crew who visit a suburb near you and keep it 145 bpm for 17 hours on end. I’m generally a believer that if you have to take class A hallucinogens to enjoy the music you listen to, perhaps it’s time to consider the music you listen to. That said, this here track by Pryda — better known as Eric Prydz — ain’t too shabby. That is to say, I like it. And as I sit here, I testify to you that I am not on high on glue or whizz or any other exotic stimulant. At times the track drifts off into a monotonous haze but for the most part its nasty enough to make ‘introspective’ interesting.
And because we totally couldn’t make this post without mentioning… in case you couldn’t for the life of you remember why the name Eric Prydz is on the tip of your tongue… it was that video a few years back for Call On Me right?…
Oh yeah… that one. No telling what the vid for this one might turn out to be.
